Why did GLO+ begin its journey?

For the last few centuries, our mankind successfully overcome several natural disasters and manmade destructions including wars, pandemics, high usage of chemical-based products and junk food, etc. putting us down and impacts our lives directly or indirectly, but we keep evolving and getting better n better with the realization of possessing our body and mind by practicing healthy habits, yoga, exercise, supporting clean energy, moving towards consumption of organic and natural produce, preserving ecological systems, etc. to save our beautiful world and handover it to our future generation; in between all unavoidable modern tools and technological advancements.

And we all know about the Butterfly Effect, in Chaos theory how small changes in initial conditions can lead to large-scale and unpredictable variation in the future state of the system. With the same motivation, we are on the mission of avoiding harmful chemical usage in our products; which is a very tiny step we could offer to mankind and we never know how this initiative will help and improve someone's life!

Thanks for joining our mission and we wish everyone a healthy, wealthy, and happier life forever!!

Our Soap Making Process

Most commercial soaps aren't actually soap. They're comparable to detergents in that they're often made with synthetic components. Parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, triclosan, and phosphorous are examples of substances that irritate and dry the skin. Some of these substances have even been linked to hormone disruption and also they tested on animals.

Our Ingredients

GLO+ handmade soaps are made by our own hands using the cold process method of making soap.

Our soaps are considered "healthy" in that they don't include Chemical Detergents, Synthetic Lathering Agents, Parabens, or Phthalates.

But our Handmade Soap is the result of a basic chemical reaction between fats or oils and lye. The process of achieving the chemical reaction is called saponification.

How are traditional soaps and synthetic detergents different?

Ordinary soap is made by combining fats or oils and an alkali, such as lye. The fats and oils, which may be from animal, vegetable, or mineral sources, are degraded into free fatty acids, which then combine with the alkali to form crude soap. The lye reacts with the oils, turning what starts out as liquid into blocks of soap. When made properly, no lye remains in the finished product. In the past, people commonly made their own soap using animal fats and lye that had been extracted from wood ashes. We use saponified Organic Oils of (Coconut, Olive, Almond, Castor), Organic Shea Butter, Premium Essential Oils for Fragrance, Natural Colors, Rose Clay, Purple Clay, Organic Aloe Vera, and Activated Charcoal to make our soaps. It is also worthy to note that we source all of our ingredients from cruelty-free suppliers.

Our Soap Making Process

Although healthy ingredients are one of our top priorities, it doesn't stop there. A real soap maker must also have clearly defined processes to produce a consistent product that you can trust and rely on. We follow and adhere to all of the FDA rules and regulations to ensure safety, purity of ingredients, transparent labeling, claims, and cleanliness:

~ All soap molds are stored on shelving (off the floor)

~ All raw materials are stored on shelving (off the floor)

~ All soap bar labels contain a batch number which allows us to track the source of ingredients as well as the date each soap was made.

~ All soap bars are labeled with all ingredients and approximate weight.

~ We do not make medical/drug claims (on our website, social media, or in-person)
